[SOGo] Centos 7. Sogo. Samba4. OpenChange.

2016-02-10 Thread faisal
Hi,

I have successfully installed and configured centos7, postfix, dovecot, mysql,
sogo.

For samba4, I had to use the repo and packages provided by
https://portal.enterprisesamba.com/ as I was told that the samba package
provided from the official centos 7 repository does not provide the DC
function. It installed fine and the domain provisioning process went fine. It
is version 4.2, the last free version from samba.org.

Next, I wanted to install openchange. Firstly, I notice there is no
openchange-2.3 in the official centos7 repo nor in sogo or epel repo.
Currently, there is openchange-2.0 in the centos7 repo. I tried to installed
it but I get package dependency error because it is looking for libsamba-
debug-samba4.so(SAMBA_4.2.3) which is in a samba package from the official
centos7 repo .

Anyway, I have hit a wall. My question is; Anyone has successfully installed
samba4 and openchange-2.3 in centos7 ? I rather use rpms but if I need to
compile from source, so be it.
Any tips ?

Rgds,
Faisal

???

The current release version is 4.3.4, but your wording suggests that it
is no longer free? That would be mistaken...

Yes, but it will be only available from Outlook/to Outlook except for
events which will be also edited from SOGo Webmail.

Outlook provides Nonediting Author for a shared folder to delete own
messages but not edit them :D.

I'm afraid this cannot be done yet with current master.

[SOGo] New Interface, hide the activity bar

2016-02-10 Thread Alessandro Briosi
Is there a way, or is it a planned feature to be able to hide the
"Activity/Event" left bar?

I find it pretty annoying to not be able to have the calendar view use
the whole screen (especially on small screens).

Thanks,
Alessandro

[SOGo] V3 info

2016-02-10 Thread VILLEMUR Jacques

Hi
Some questions about the v3 (3.0.1):
- We can not move a message to a folder by drag / drop or menu
- There are keyboard shortcuts (the arrows do not work to move from one message
to another in the list) ?
- with multiple accounts Imap can not reduce viewing an account on the left
side of the window
- How to change the theme (color) of the interface.

Thank you for your answers and your work.
Jacques

Just a follow up.
Running the above against the mysql database seems to have fixed all
problems.

[SOGo] Password change not possible

2016-02-10 Thread Michael Grimbichler
Hi all

New to SOGo and can’t change user passwords in the settings.
Is this a known bug? Cant see anything in /var/log/messages or /var/log/maillog
when hitting the „change“ button.
Also the fact that there is a „save" button and „change" button is a bit
confusing.
I am running Sogo on CentOS 7 with OpenLDAP and Dovecot.
Password change is set in the Sogo config and following is my LDAP config.

olcAccess: {0}to attrs=userPassword,shadowLastChange

 by dn=„cn=admin,dc=domain,dc=com“ write

 by dn="uid=dovecot,ou=ServiceAccounts,dc=domain,dc=co,dc=uk“ read

 by dn="uid=saslauthd,ou=ServiceAccounts,dc=domain,dc=co,dc=uk“ read

 by anonymous auth

 by self write

 by * none

Do I also need to grant write permission to the SOGo Service account or should
it be covered by the „self“ permission?

Thanks,
Michael
