Ok I seem to have found the issue compared to another installation. I 
increased the timeout for apache sogo.conf:


ProxyPass /Microsoft-Server-ActiveSync \
 http://127.0.0.1:2/SOGo/Microsoft-Server-ActiveSync \
 retry=60 connectiontimeout=5 timeout=3600

and the error is resolved.

Pretty sure someone might have already mentioned about this in previous 
emails, but I have missed it..
