[SOGo] ANN: SOGo v3.2.3 released!

2016-11-25 Thread Ludovic Marcotte
The Inverse Team is pleased to announce the immediate availability of
SOGo v3.2.3. This is a minor release of SOGo which focuses on small new
features and improved stability over previous versions.

 What is SOGo

SOGo is a free and modern scalable groupware server. It offers shared
calendars, address books and emails through your favorite Web browser or
by using a native client such as Mozilla Thunderbird and Lightning,
Apple Calendar and Address Book (Mac OS X and iOS) and Microsoft Outlook.

SOGo is standard-compliant and supports CalDAV, CardDAV and reuses
existing IMAP, SMTP and database servers - making the solution easy to
deploy and interoperable with many applications.

SOGo features:

 * Scalable architecture suitable for deployments from dozen to many
   thousand users
 * Rich, responsible Web-based interface aligned with Google Material
   Design guidelines
 * Improved integration with Mozilla Thunderbird and Lightning by using
   the SOGo Connector and the SOGo Integrator
 * Native compatibility for Microsoft Outlook 2003, 2007, 2010, 2013
   and 2016
 *

   Two-way synchronization support with any Microsoft
   ActiveSync-capable device (Apple iOS, Android, Windows Phone,
   BlackBerry 10) or Outlook 2013/2016

 * Excellent native integration with Apple software (OS X and iOS) and
   Android-based devices

and many more! SOGo and our connectors are completely free.

 Changes from the previous release

*New features*

 * [core] added photo support for LDAP-based address books (#747, #2184)

*Enhancements*

 * [web] updated CKEditor to version 4.6.0
 * [web] updated Angular to version 1.5.9

*Bug fixes*

 * [web] restore attributes when rewriting base64-encoded img tags (#3814)
 * [web] improve alarms dialog (#3909)
 * [eas] fixed EAS delete operation

Re: [SOGo] Problem with sharing

2016-11-25 Thread Christoph Kreutzer
Hi Alex,

Problem 1: Did you define the several domains as different domains in
sogo.conf? If it's only one, it's default behaviour.

Problem 2: You can set default access rights in sogo.conf, please take a look
at the docs, I don't remember them right now. Sth. like PublicDandTViewer etc.

Best regards,
Christoph

[SOGo] Problem with sharing

2016-11-25 Thread Alexander Holzapfel
Hi. I use SOGo in combonation with the administration-tool mailcow and i love
it.

But now i have seen that when i am searching for some users, they will be
displayed with its name and mail address.

Problem 1: I won't see the other users with other domain names. Is it possible
to set the privacy level a little bit higher?

Problem 2: I can subscribe to a calendar of a person who doesn't have added my
account to his sharing partners. How can I disable that?

Re: [SOGo] Problem updating DB

2016-11-25 Thread Alexander Holzapfel
In my opinion you should change the password for your mysql user.
Then change it in the config files of your mailservers (dovecot, postfix).

When I remember correctly, the password is also stored in a mysql table for
some calendars and address books.

You should not be using a printer in 2016 ;)

But if you want to live in the past, use v2. Or wait until we
restore the CSS for printing in v3 ..

This script is buggy, it doesn’t correct set new parameters
(OCSCacheFolderURL, OCSStoreURL, OCSAclURL) with sql
username/password.

I will have a look at that, thanks a lot.

I have another problem now.. I noticed I pasted my db password earlier
when i was asking for help, so I tried to change it with no luck.
Problem I am having now is that any user I try to log into sogo webmail
it says incorrect password. My phone is also asking me to put in the
correct password.

What can i do?

Hi,
when viewing an email you can find the print action in the extended menu
(at the top right, click on the 3 vertical dots)

Thanks for your detailed reply.

I want to move my clients to Yandex email which offers free unlimited
emails as backend and SoGo as frontend. Could this be possible?

I am not quite sure what you want to archive. Gmail already has contact

IMAP server like dovecot so that you have a nice web interface and
contact and calendar support (and ActiveSync support). I only know
people who have moved from Gmail to SOGo.

If you worry to set up an own email server (postfix, dovecot) you could
try hosted.mailcow.email. They offer SOGo. Besides there is a download
version of mailcow with which you can set up an own server quite easily.

Hi Arjon,

Sendgrid and AmazonSES are meant as SMTP gateways for reliable sending

like IMAP which you'll need for SOGo.

You can run your own SOGo instance and connect it to a hosted IMAP/SMTP
server anywhere. But you will need an IMAP server for your domain.

I was wondering if I can integrate sendgrid/amazon ses with SoGo to send

Thank you for your time.

Well, this depends on how you name the domains you service with
SOGo.

Please take a closer look at the "Preferences Hierarchy" that
SOGo implements at

  https://sogo.nu/files/docs/SOGoInstallationGuide.html#_preferences_hierarchy

You must distinguish between System, Domain, and User
Preferences.

The preference in question (SOGoDomainsVisibility) is of type
System as you can see in the table at

https://sogo.nu/files/docs/SOGoInstallationGuide.html#_multi_domains_configuration

where there is an "S" in the column left from
"SOGoDomainsVisibility". However, you use it as a Domain
Preference because you put it under each domain (see your
configuration example above). I am pretty sure that this causes
the error. You must put it outside of the domains' configuration
as follows:

  domains = {
domain0 = {
  SOGoMailDomain = domain0;
  SOGoUserSources = (
{
  [snip]
}
  );
};
domain1 = {
  SOGoMailDomain = domain0;
  SOGoUserSources = (
{
  [snip]
}
  );
};
domain2 = {
  SOGoMailDomain = domain2;
  SOGoUserSources = (
{
  [snip]
}
  );
};
domain3 = {
  SOGoMailDomain = domain3;
  SOGoUserSources = (
{
  [snip]
}
  );
};
  };

  SOGoDomainsVisibility = ( ( domain0, domain2 ), ( domain2, domain3 ) );

Obviously, domain{0..3} must be real domain names.

How does that work out for you?

2016-11-25 Thread Christoph Kreutzer
Hi MJ,

I’m probably one of the few that got it working. I’m using it on Debian 8, what
is your OS?

crudesaml was not working for me, since it needs at least a patched liblasso
(you find more on that in the archive, I’ve posted all my findings some weeks
ago).
My solution was relatively fast developed using PHP (I tried a shell script
first, but parsing XML etc. would have been hell):
https://github.com/ck-ws/pam-script-saml

Of course it would also be possible to just accept any password on the dovecot
side from localhost. I would try it as it’s documented for OpenChange.

Your problem isn’t really one: For Dovecot you can specify several passdb
lookups, I’ve done that also (one for localhost with the normal LDAP userdb,
one with PAM for SAML, and one using MySQL for Google-like app passwords), see
below:

# application specific passwords
passdb {
  driver = sql
  args = /etc/dovecot/dovecot-sql-asp.conf.ext
}
# PAM (for SOGo SAML SSO login)
passdb {
  driver = pam
}
# normal login
passdb {
  driver = ldap
  args = /etc/dovecot/dovecot-ldap.conf.ext
  override_fields = allow_nets=local,127.0.0.1/32,::1
}
userdb {
  driver = prefetch
}
userdb {
  driver = ldap
  args = /etc/dovecot/dovecot-ldap-userdb.conf.ext
}

Of course you would need to apply your passwordless config in there. But I
don’t really like the thought of a passwordless mail access…

Also there is currently a problem with CAS/SAML authentication. See #3884:
https://sogo.nu/bugs/view.php?id=3884

Best regards,
Christoph

OK don't worry about that : clearing the cache on browser solve the problem ;)

Hi all,
before testing the config for shared mailboxes (another post) I wanted to
update Sogo. For recall, it's on CentOS7.
it updates it to sogo-*-3.2.2.20161124-1.el7. But since that, the contextual
menus (the 3 vertical points in webUI) no more works : no submenu id opened, it
just do noting :(
Restarted all, and at last all the server, but not better.

Any idea ?

Hi,

Purge your browser cache (cache and offline pages).

Re: [SOGo] Sogo and sendgrid

2016-11-25 Thread Arjon Bujupi

Thank you very much for your reply.

So you are saying that I can use SoGo interface for gmail or hotmail? I
want my clients to use SoGo interface but the main mail server will be
google or microsoft.

Any info regarding this? I am sorry but I have no experience in this.

Thank you very much and have a great weekend.

Hi Arjon,

Sendgrid and AmazonSES are meant as SMTP gateways for reliable sending

You can run your own SOGo instance and connect it to a hosted IMAP/SMTP
server anywhere. But you will need an IMAP server for your domain.

Hello,

I am sending this for the first time so please sorry if I make a mistake.

I have been seeing SoGo for a few months now and I love the interface. I
haven't installed it because it's a little time consuming to manage my
own email server. I have some sysadmin skills.

I was wondering if I can integrate sendgrid/amazon ses with SoGo to send
and receive emails. Is it possible? I really love the interface and I
want to move all my users on SoGo.

Thank you for your time.

Have a great weekend.

[SOGo] sogo / dovecot / saml

2016-11-25 Thread mj

Hi,

We have just started experimenting with saml, and trying it with the
various applications we use.

From the docs and list posts, it seems that we can use SAML with sogo,
the only difficulty being the dovecot authentication. (with crudesaml,
pam, etc)

So I wonder: for the SOGo openchange/outlook compatibility it is already
required to allow imap from localhost without a password. Could we
somehow use this for SAML auth as well?

Is anyone doing that? What would the required config be like?

The problem, I imagine: we need a 'regular' config, for regular password
authentication, and a 'localhost-passwordless' config, specific for
saml, right?

Or am I talking nonsense now?
