Thank You - now I see the problem, but still struggling to fix it.
Updated (replaced content) of those 2 files Reinstalled all SOPE packages and
SOGO, SOGO-ACTIVESYNC Restarted Still same problem :( I suspect I am doing
something wrong R

You'll keep getting the same answer: update your SOPE packages.

This was introduced a while ago
(https://github.com/inverse-inc/sope/commit/567bd0b).

find / -type f -name "sogo.conf"

It's inconceivable that it can run and access the DB without any
credentials.

[SOGo] sogo.conf

2020-07-27 Thread Chaim Litvin
Hello,
i have newly installed sogo (Version 4.3.0 @shiva2.inverse 202004020653)+ nginx
server.
login page loaded successfully.
On server startup sogo.log have following eror:
[ERROR] |SOGo| No value specified for 'SOGoProfileURL'

i checked /etc/sogo/sogo.conf and
 SOGoProfileURL = "mysql://sogo:***@:3306/sogo/sogo_user_profile";

then i renamed sogo.conf and made sure that no additional sogo.conf existed on
system.
after restarting server seems that sogo was able to start service without
config file.
Now i got to conclusion that my server simply ignore sogo.conf file.
Will appreciate your assistance.

No errors in the apache error log, access log only shows the POST request.

It was all setup and configured by another person, but AFIAK, it was
functional with the confs as they are. The only item I know recently
occurred was the renewal of the SSL cert. I'm not even sure where to
start to start trying to narrow down what it could be. Rest of the SOGo
UI is fine, it loads up the mailbox etc (tho looking at the log the POST
for the unseen count also fails). I did verify I able to connect on port
4190:

telnet staff.prioritycolo.com 4190
Trying 2607:f698:100:1::5...
telnet: connect to address 2607:f698:100:1::5: Connection refused
Trying 204.11.48.5...
telnet: connect to address 204.11.48.5: Connection refused

Next step I suppose will be to look at the firewall rules to open that
port from localhost then try again with
sieve://staff.prioritycolo.com:4190/?tls=YES

Thanks again,

Jonathan Davis - Priority Colo Inc.

You must use your FQDN in your configuration when you enable TLS/SSL.
