[SOGo] mass-edit sogo_folder_info for database connection details

2020-10-02 Thread mj

Hi,

For security reasons (more stringent password requirements) we would
like to change the sogo database connection credentials.

However, to do that, we don't only need edit sogo.conf, but also the
saved credentials in the database, per user in the sogo_folder_info.

Is there a supported nice way (sogo-tool?) to do that for users that are
already in the database?

We're runing mysql, btw, and SOGo V5.

Thanks and have a nice weekend!

MJ

Re: [SOGo] SOGo 5.0.0 Login Problem

2020-10-02 Thread Lars Liedtke
Hi Odhiambo,

of course. I was facing the same "problem" as you, so at first I tried
copying the sogo4-Port and updating the Makefile. After I ran into some
problems I opened a bug in the FreeBSD-Bugtracker
(https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=249370) but
unfortunately neither the port maintainer nor someone else responded. So
I tried fixing the port specific patch problems I had with the help of a
long expirienced colleague and succeeded. So I have got a sogo5 port
draft and a pkg package built by poudriere, which installs fine. If
you'd like I am happy to share. Of course I cannot give any guarantees,
but if you'd like to try yourself and eventually help with my problem,
be my guest:

Cheers

Lars

[SOGo] Problem with database update script

2020-10-02 Thread "Reischl, Christian"
Hello,

I upgraded SOGo 2.3.23 to 4.3.2 and ran into a problem with the database
upgrade scripts.

First I tried sql-update-3.0.0-to-combined-mysql.sh with the following result:
ERROR 1054 (42S22) at line 3: unknown column 'c_categories' in field list
ERROR: mysql returned error 1

Maybe I've missed an earlier upgrade, so after a little research I tried
sql-update-1.3.3_to_1.3.4-mysql.sh but it failed again:
ERROR 1064 (42000) at line 1: You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the
manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to
use near 'NULL ADD COLUMN c_categories VARCHAR(255)' in Zeile 1

I'm stuck at the moment. Can anyone help me with this issue?

I'm on Debian 10, the database is running on a separate Server running Debian 9
and MySQL 5.7.

Kind regards,
Christian
