Re: [SOGo] Multiple Usersources for round-robin / failover ?

2018-09-26 Thread Alexandre Blanc

Hi,

Something like that could work :

  SOGoUserSources = (
    {
  type = ldap;
  CNFieldName = cn;
  IDFieldName = cn;
  UIDFieldName = sAMAccountName;
  //baseDN = "CN=Users,dc=my,dc=domain,dc=ext";
  baseDN = "dc=my,dc=domain,dc=ext";
  bindDN = "CN=userloginforquery,CN=Users,DC=my,DC=domain,DC=ext";
  bindFields = (sAMAccountName);
  bindPassword = TheuserP4ssword;
  canAuthenticate = YES;
  displayName = "Active Directory";
  hostname = "ldap://ip-of-server-1:389 ldap://ip-of-server-2:389;;
  id = directory;
  isAddressBook = YES;
    }
  );

I hope it helps. Just add many with a space in between :)

Re: [SOGo] Possible to run just CalDAV ?

2018-02-18 Thread Alexandre Blanc
Hello,

Maybe deploying nextcloud is going to be more easy for this purpose, it does
support Caldav. Unless you want the authentication of Sogo for a specific
reason.

Check this docker, ready in 5 minutes :
https://github.com/nextcloud/docker/blob/master/README.md

And you'll be able two use just the caldav feature :)

Alexandre.

Objet: [SOGo] Possible to run just CalDAV ?

Hello,

I was wondering if it is possible to configure SOGo so that only the
calendaring services (CalDAV), are available ?

I currently have a SMTP/IMAP service and would like to only add calendaring
(ideally without the web interface - just CalDAV support for iOS clients
connecting to SOGu through my firewall).

Is this currently possible ?

Thanks,

- J

Did you try this option :

https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/3189194/how-to-disable-simplified-account-creation-in-outlook-2016

It was posted earlier this month on the list, i guess it could help to get the
account properly configured.

hi,

as far as i know, there is no way to do this kind of configuration as there is
no mapi interface to sogo. there was a project which tried to implement such an
interface (openchange with a special samba version), but this project is
abandoned (not to say it's dead).

you could use active sysnc (eas) which only has kind of liminted functionality
due to it's specification or you could give
https://sourceforge.net/projects/outlookcaldavsynchronizer/ a try. this seems
to be a fairly complete implementation but it's kind of end-user-unfriendly
(not very suitable for technically unexperienced users).

i'm sad to say that the lack of an easy to configure and easy to use outlook
interface lead to the rejection of sogo to the advantage of ms-exchange not
only at our site.

Dear SOGo,

we got some problems to configure SOGo for MS Outlook 2016 as an
Exchange-Service.
And we didn't find something to get it working.

Is it possible to use Outlook 2016 in the community edition, or is it only
available in the commercial version?
If it's only possible we're planning to contribute in commercial version.

Mit freundlichen Grüßen / Best regards
