Is it gone for newly created events only, or also for the ones which were
showing the problem before the upgrade?

Myself I installed packages from this source:
deb http://inverse.ca/ubuntu precise precise

and it is on Ubuntu precise.

I am not doing that, but still, why should it happen? I would expect the
versions to be compatible and sometimes I install packages from one Ubuntu
version in another without problems.

I checked, and no. The timezone is Europe/Prague, as it should be.

I can not reproduce the problem anymore for newly created events. However the
events created in the time frame when the problem was there are still being
displayed incorrectly.

Moreover I discovered that the events created by SOGo 2.1.1b are displayed
correctly (could be due to the daylight saving time start though as I upgraded
SOGo at about the same time as the DST started) and even the events created by
some users in SOGo 2.2.2 are displayed correctly (although they are created at
the time when I could reproduce the problem, so for different users the problem
went away at different times). I don't know what the difference between the
users is, but it seems to depend on the user that created the event rather than
on the user who views the information (that is, I can look at the free/busy
time of an user who does not suffer from the problem and it is displayed
correctly although for my events it is incorrect).

I've looked at the raw source of the events in the web interface and I do not
see any obvious difference. The timezone information is identical
(Europe/Prague). Is there some more information about the events in the SQL
database?

It is only the free/busy display in the "Invite attendees" dialog that is off
by 23h, in the calendar view it is correct. It is really a mystery...

[SOGo] free/busy time off by 23 h

2014-03-31 Thread Pavel Cahyna
Hello,

when I tried to invite people/resources to a meeting, I noted that their
free/busy information is off by 23 h. E.g. if I have a meeting on the
1st of April at 14:00, I am being shown as occupied on the 2nd of April
at 13:00. This happens consistently for all events and only in the web
interface. In Thunderbird/Ligthning the free/busy time is shown
correctly.

It started happening recently but I do not know if it is due to SOGo
upgrade to 2.2.2 (from 2.1.1b ) or by the daylight saving time which
started on the 30th.

Does this happen for anyone else? It is quite a serious problem.

[SOGo] Combination of proxy authentication and password authentication

2014-02-24 Thread Pavel Cahyna
Hello,

I tried proxy authentication with SOGo but I encountered a problem. When
I set SOGoTrustProxyAuthentication = YES, I can not login anymore
without Apache performing the authentication. The login page is
displayed, but when I enter my username and password, a message in red
appears, saying: "An unhandled error occurred."

I would like SOGo to trust the proxy authentication performed by Apache,
but when Apache does not perform it, fall back to its own default
authentication. This is because I want Apache to perform proxy
authentication only for certain paths, like this:

  AuthType Kerberos
  Require valid-user

The reason for this is that I can not use Kerberos authentication for
the whole SOGo, because then SOGo can not login to IMAP
(bug #1200, http://www.sogo.nu/bugs/view.php?id=1200 ) but I want to
turn it on at least for the DAV paths. Otherwise Thunderbird asks for
passwords for the calendars every time it starts, which is annoying.

Would this be possible?

Best regards, Pavel
