Re: [SOGo] Respost: Sogo webmail UI crashes
Hi, we observe this problem also. We use Win7 64Bit with Firefox 32 & 64 Bit (same error) when you forward or answer to a mail the browser tab crashes. You see the send acknowledge and then the whole sogo closes. Also the delete button has no function. The only way to bypass this error is the button "open in new mail window" then all Buttons and functions are working. maybe this little trick help your customer to survive since a patch is available best regards Robert Am 12.09.2017 um 12:15 schrieb Stefano Zamboni (tdi...@gmail.com): > > hi there, sorry to bother you but I had no advices > > customer is reporting crashes on w10 64 bit and firefox 64bit too, so > I definitely need some debug hints to find what's going wrong > > @sogo crew: I'd like to have support from you on this one.. > > Thank you > > S. > > > > Forwarded Message > Subject: Sogo webmail UI crashes > Date: Wed, 3 May 2017 13:55:01 +0200 > From: Stefano Zamboni> To: users@sogo.nu > > > > Hi all > > since a (quite) long time I opened a bug > (https://sogo.nu/bugs/view.php?id=4098) because a customer of mine is > having issues with webmail UI.. > > I had almost no support on the BT and I need to debug the problem 'cause > my customer is asking me for a sogo alternative > > first of all: no, I can't say him to use chrome as default browser > 'cause they already must use both IE and firefox for some custom apps.. > adding a third browser is not an option (unfortunately) > > the problem doesn't depend on the AV running on the client (tried > different ones) but is seems related to firefox/w7 pro both 32 bit.. > there's no way to reproduce the problem on a 64 bit machine. > > this is what happen: regardless of open tabs in the browser (firefox), > when an user click on "answer" icon or on the "forward" one, the tab > closes itself with no error.. no error in browser's console, nor in > sogo's logs (UIDebug enabled) > > I saw this bug: https://sogo.nu/bugs/view.php?id=3824 and I'd like to > have the opportunity to shutdown all the effects I don't really need to > see if it will solve the problem.. > > I'm not asking for code, I'm asking for feedback and hints.. once I > debugged the issue I'll give devs more info to solve it (hopefully) > > is there anyone that has this kind of problem? > > TIA > > ciao > > S. > > -- > users@sogo.nu > https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists

If that's the > case, it could cause issues. Did a grep on a sogo.log of a day when both clients were connected (different IPs). There is no DeviceID connected through different IPs. There is no IP with connections using the same DeviceID. Btw. There are 12 different deviceIDs associated to this user. Most of them without traces in sogo.log. Regards -- R.
