This could be achieved in several ways and one of the simplest is to add an entry in /etc/aliases. Anyway, the alias lookup can be done by querying Samba or any storage supported by the MTA. Alias addresses can be perfectly configured within samba LDAP directory, or example myself I use otherMailbox schema attribute for this.
