Yes, indeed, that is the goal. I'm also maintaining the SOPE/SOGo packages for 
OpenBSD.
Whenever we have a patch against SOPE, that makes OGo, and in some cases SOGo 
more happier,
we definitely like to have it in the SOPE source tree, so reporting it upstream.
On the long yourney to port OGo to gnustep-base/new SOPE, a couple of patches
to SOPE went in from me, fixing issues for both SOGo anb OGo.

That is great! i just registered for Bugtracker of SOGo too quite for 
some days/weeks ago try to help the community as much as i can. iam just 
not an C# programmer but we´re using SOGo in our company (12 ppl) and i 
had quite some issues and some are fixed so i try to get feedback to the 
appropiate bugs already reported.


I like that kind of contribution as it makes not even the application 
better but of course the users more happier ;)

that should be always the goal.
