[SOGo] meeting invitations not being sent
Hi Mailing List, Pl forgive me if this is the wrong place/ way to ask. I'm a very new end-user of gandi-sogo email/ calendar/ contacts suite, so far it looks like a great upgrade to the old gandi platform and I'm looking forward to abandoning google's versions. When I try to invite people to calendar appointments it doesn't look like an invitation is being sent at all. (1) Tried it via thunderbird lightening (subscribed to the CalDAV url). (2) Then I tried via the web UI at w.webmail.eu.com/... (3) then I tried arranging a meeting with myself@hotmail and (4) with a different gandimail account and then finally (5) I tried adding adding my 2 other email addresses to the contacts on SOGO and creating another new meeting. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong please? Thanks in advance. BW akb -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists
Re: [SOGo] Meeting Invitations
Hello Am 2015-02-03 um 17:46 schrieb a...@maymay.de: I am currently using eGroupware and connecting using Funambol from Android and Apple mobile devices. The problem I have is that none of the devices, Funambol or eGroupware seem to feel responsible for sending out an invitation to a meeting created on one of the mobile clients. Is sogo the answer to my problems? If I create a meeting with guests on a mobile client and then sync that meeting to sogo, will sogo send out the invitations to the guests or will it expect that to already have been done on the client side? I am not sure SOGo will be the answer to all your problems :). But yes, SOGo will send the invitation, if you enable sending of invitations in the config.
