Re: [SOGo] Thunderbird 11 on Ubuntu 12.04
(Maybe a 'apt-get build-dep thunderbird' before) Download the debianized sources (.dsc, .orig.tar.gz, .diff.gz) from http://packages.ubuntu.com/oneiric-updates/thunderbird That link has changed to version 11 . I've searched a while , but could not find where to download the debianized Thunderbird ESR sources. Could someone please suggest a place to find them? -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists
[SOGo] Thunderbird 11 on Ubuntu 12.04
With Ubuntu 11.04, i have Thunderbird 11. Is there any way to have Thunderbird ESR? Because there is a same problem of sogo-integrator/connector max version. -- Alessio Fattorini (alessio.fattor...@nethesis.it) nethesis srl - Via degli Olmi 16/4 - 61100 Pesaro (PU) tel. +39 0721 405516 - fax +39 0721 268147 www.nethesis.it - i...@nethesis.it -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists

Install 10.0 ESR instead of Thunderbird 11. :) You can either download the package from mozilla, extract it wherever you want and run it from there. (Thats what I did until the updated version hit the oneiric repositories.) Or, if you prefer a .deb, look for a repository, I'm sure there will be one that will keep the ESR version for the different ubuntu/debian versions. If you cannot find a repository, you should be able to build your own .deb by doing the following: (Maybe a 'apt-get build-dep thunderbird' before) Download the debianized sources (.dsc, .orig.tar.gz, .diff.gz) from http://packages.ubuntu.com/oneiric-updates/thunderbird dpkg-source -x thunderbird*.dsc cd thunderbird* dpkg-buildpackage -uc -us -rfakeroot -b Didn't test it for TB, but it works for me for most other software that I need in a (usually) newer version.
