When delete mail from external client (non outlook) like webmail, and resync mail folder on Outlook, samba crash. Hi Fabio, Can you give me some additional info on your environment? What are the samba, openchange and sogo versions you are using? Are you running SOGo master or the one with pending patches from Zentyal? In the meanwhile, I'll try to get someone from QA to try to reproduce the issue. Cheers, Julien. My enviroment: Ubuntu 12.04 Postfix Dovecot Samba 4.0.1+dfsg1-1 SOGo 2.2.3.20140516-1 No zentyal patches... [SOGo] Samba crash
Hi When Outlook try to sync folders of my email account on server side Samba crashes and 135 tcp/ip port is closed. Any other Samba ports are ok (DNS, LDAP,...). I read somewhere that this problem relates to Outlook in a different version than the English. One thing that could help is adding the 'panic action' to the samba
configuration in order to get a gdb backtrace if samba panics.
To do so, fetch the gdb_backtrace script from the samba git repo and make sure
it is executable:

'http://git.samba.org/?p=samba.git;a=blob_plain;f=selftest/gdb_backtrace;hb=HEAD' /usr/local/bin/gdb_backtrace
chmod +x /usr/local/bin/gdb_backtrace
Then add the following line to the [global] section of smb.conf:
panic action = /usr/local/bin/gdb_backtrace %d
This will log a backtrace in the samba log whenever it crashes.
Also, make sure to install the following packages in order to get a meaningful
trace:
openchangeserver-dbg sogo-dbg sope4.9-dbg
Hopefully we'll be able to catch the bug with this.

After struggling some weeks of finetuning all configuration almost everything seems to work quite well except one thing: When we delete an email in outlook 2010 he will move it to the folder 'Deleted Items'. Server 2: Debian wheezy, Iredmail, Dovecot 2.1, OpenLDAP, Postfix, etc.. Sogo config fails with the SOGoTrashFolderName set to Deleted Items. When we delete a mail in the Sogo webmail it is stored in the trash folder with success. When creating the outlook exchange account it created automatically the folders drafts, sent and deleted items. The folders sent and drafts are working properly. One big difference is that the name of the folder deleted items is different than the default sogo uses (Trash). Anybody know how to fix this problem?
