As is clearly stated in the Windows installer: if you install from the
.exe on a 64-bit OS then you need to use a 64-bit JVM.

list.

Java6.0.20 64bit on some types of Windows systems has an epic bug.
Upgrade to 6.0.21 (or newer if you're reading this in what is presently
the future) at your earliest opportunity.
