[ Cluster mod] Cannot be able to join multicast group

2013-07-18 Thread Hung Nguyen
Hello,

I am testing cluster TS on Centos 5.6 Final 64Bit, TS version 3.2.4.
Here is my configuration for cluster:

LOCAL proxy.local.cluster.type INT 1
CONFIG proxy.config.cluster.cluster_port INT 8086
CONFIG proxy.config.cluster.rsport INT 8098
CONFIG proxy.config.cluster.mcport INT 8089
CONFIG proxy.config.cluster.mc_group_addr STRING 224.0.1.37
CONFIG proxy.config.cluster.mc_ttl INT 1
CONFIG proxy.config.cluster.log_bogus_mc_msgs INT 1
CONFIG proxy.config.cluster.ethernet_interface STRING eth1
CONFIG proxy.config.cluster.threads INT 10
CONFIG proxy.config.cluster.num_of_cluster_connections INT 10

When restart Traffic server, I got following errors:

[Jul 19 11:22:30.315] Manager {0x2abe0f5cd130} NOTE:
[ClusterCom::ClusterCom] Node running on OS: 'Linux' Release:

[Jul 19 11:22:30.322] Manager {0x2abe0f5cd130} NOTE:
[LocalManager::processShutdown] Executing process shutdown request.

With same configuration and TS version on Ubuntu 12.04, TS started fine
without problem.

Can someone please give me some hints how to get TS Clustering mode working
on Centos 5.6 Final 64.bit?

Thanks,

 Hey folks,

I was wondering how many of you use UTF-8 as your default Character
encoding and would like to see Traffic Server use it by default as well.

I have a tiny patchset which switches from the old default
latin1 to the utf-8 up on my github:

https://github.com/igalic/trafficserver/tree/utf-8

I'll merge into trunk (not 3.2.x any time soon) if there's appropriate
 interest.

 So long,

+1, compiled successful, pass remap rule with regex, pass ip_allow and deny
rule, caching works ok. Not sure how is it going when running for long
enough timescale.

That's great news! Hopefully things are working well :).

Can we put Comcast as a user on our who's using ATS page (which is

We are using trafficserver for caching social game static. These online
games are part of our social network for Vietnamese user (

 Hi all,

I'd like for us to make a page with a list of who's using Apache Traffic
Server. It won't have to include any details, even something simple as just
showing the logos for the companies using our project would be very
helpful. If you'd be willing (and interested) in being on such a page,
please let us know. The more the better ;).

Re: Centos, ats, apache

2011-09-08 Thread Hung Nguyen
would you please try to add 2 more '/' to remap rule like this

 map http://cache.shearmyste.com/ http://shearmyste.com/

I guess TS send an invalid GET request to apache cause that error.
The request header is something like this:

 GET index.htm HTTP/1.1
 Host: shearmyste.com
 User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:6.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/6.0
 Accept: text/html,application/xhtml+xml,application/xml;q=0.9,*/*;q=0.8
 Accept-Language: en-us,en;q=0.5
 Accept-Encoding: gzip, deflate
 Accept-Charset: UTF-8,*
 Connection: keep-alive

When it should be like this:

 GET /index.htm HTTP/1.1
 Host: shearmyste.com
 User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:6.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/6.0
 Accept: text/html,application/xhtml+xml,application/xml;q=0.9,*/*;q=0.8
 Accept-Language: en-us,en;q=0.5
 Accept-Encoding: gzip, deflate
 Accept-Charset: UTF-8,*
 Connection: keep-alive

Anyway, if it can not fix your problem, please include apache error log to
next email.

 Hi all

this is new to me so bear with me..

Here is what I am attempting to do..

 single server
 ats on 109.203.113.185:80 http://cache.shearmyste.com
 apache on 213.229.120.164:80 http://shearmyste.com/

I want ATS to cache the content of site shearmyste.com (which will be
 a Magento installation eventually)

 I tried
 map http://cache.shearmyste.com http://shearmyste.com

However, all I got was a cycle warning.

Your request is prohibited because it would cause a cycle.

So I guess my 1st question is should what I am trying to do work?

 thanks
