First, We finally found a wicket user group in Japan - The Wicket User Group Japna aka Wicket-ja. http://www.wicket-ja.org/ I'm a founder of the group. I want to make the group the starting point of WICKET in Japan. Wicket is now very hot technology in Japan. Next, I'm now writing a wicket book in japanese language and plan to publish it at this summer. In current plan, it will be published at July. Very good to hear.
