 Hi there,

we'd like to update by version 2.0.4 to xwiki 2.4.

After exporting from 2.0.4 and importing die XAR-file to 2.4 file I see
the structure and imported pages. So far so good but once I select a
page I get the alert box ERROR: xwikiexplorer.js depends on xwiki.js
and after selecting OK the page is loading forever. Tested in Firefox
 3.6.x.

I remember seeing this problem after we started using the defer
attribute on script tags ( http://jira.xwiki.org/jira/browse/XWIKI-4183
) but I'm pretty sure it was fixed before 2.4 final release. Did you try
to clean the browser cache?

Hope this helps,
Marius

This also happend in milestone 1 and was the reason to wait for the
 final release.

As I just entered this ML and found no solution in the archive, I am
interested if there are hints to fix this? Is this a bug or am I just
unable to import the wiki data sucessfully?

 Old xwiki: xwiki-enterprise-jetty-hsqldb-2.0.4

 New xwiki: xwiki-enterprise-jetty-hsqldb-2.4

I did, and I just tried again to clean the all browser data of IE8 and
FF.
Btw a cleaned IE8 says this error while the FF reloads forever: (with
english translation)

Each time I restart the new xwiki installation, I change the port number
to make sure I have the new edition.
Meanwile the old wiki edition is still running and working on port 80,
but that shouldn't make a difference.

Any further help?

Hi,

I experienced exact the same issue with XE 2.4 but for the first time after
I imported SpaceExplorerPanelApplication.xar. Otherwise I didn't get this
error.

[xwiki-users] webdav access on virtual wikis

2010-07-30 Thread Thomas Hoeschele
Hallo everybody,

there is probably an easy solution for this: I would like to have access the
virtual Wikis in my farm through the webdav interface like I do access the main
wiki.

Can anybody help me out here?

I don't exactly remember how we implemented support for virtual wikis in
webdave module. Anyway, what kind of a virtual wiki configuration you have?
path based or domain name based?

If it's a domain name based setup, i think you should be able to access the
virtual wiki via webdav the same way you access the main wiki. That is:

http://domain.tld/xwiki/webdav - main wiki

http://subdomain.domain.tld/xwiki/webdav - 'subdomain' virtual wiki

Let us know if it works.

Thanks.
