[xwiki-users] Category/Topic with with + symbol in name get created with wrong page names (e.g. C++Programming becomes CProgramming)
I installed Bulletin Board Application on Xwiki5.1. However, we see strange problems when I create a Category/Topic with special characters in their names. Category/Topic name with + symbol get created with wrong page names (e.g. C++Programming becomes CProgramming) Is it somehow related to http://jira.xwiki.org/browse/XWIKI-188? Can this be fixed sometime soon, or is there any workaround? I have posted this as a bug in http://jira.xwiki.org/browse/XBB-10. But, it is not assigned to or responded by anyone since last 2 days. Note that you can install any extension from the http://maven.xwiki.org/releases/ repository using "advanced search", in this case the id is org.xwiki.contrib.workflow-publication:xwiki-workflow-publication-api and indicate the version you want. [xwiki-users] XWiki Publication Workflow Application
Good Morning! Exploring the extensions features in the xwiki.org site I found an interesting extension that could fit a big necessity in my company, the 'XWiki Publication Workflow Application'. http://extensions.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Extension/XWiki+Publication+Workflow+Application I download it by the extension manager in my XEM 5.1 but I could not launch it correctly. Trying to launch the extension I realized that the API of the plugin is missing. I think that it is the root cause of the problem. It is available in the github but I don't know how to compile. Anyone tried this extension successful? Thank you! Danilo ___ users mailing list users@xwiki.org http://lists.xwiki.org/mailman/listinfo/users

[xwiki-users] Link with get parameters and ID in XWiki 2.0 syntax
1. What is correct syntax to add get parameters in link e.g. correct way for [[link with get params>>Main.test?xpage=plain&outputSyntax=plain]] 2. What is correct syntax for link in the same page with some ID, e.g. for [[link to id>>#id]] Thanks! Valdis ___ users mailing list users@xwiki.org http://lists.xwiki.org/mailman/listinfo/users

Hello Sorin, thanks a lot. Your post was very helpful. Seemingly I messed something up by editing the Object. I just deleted the Job and followed your instructions. It's working now. Re: [xwiki-users] Programming rights ignored in the wiki farm while extension installation
It's possible the issue you have has nothing to do with the current user but with the current author (which is checked too so that you don't end up in a situation when anyone can install anything just by waiting that an admin goes to a page). Try to resave the http://mysubwikihost/xwiki/bin/view/XWiki/AddExtensions page. On Thu, Aug 8, 2013 at 3:11 PM, Dmitry Bakbardin wrote: > User is Global, member of the definite Global Group. Are you sure you are using standard com.xpn.xwiki.user.impl.LDAP.XWikiLDAPAuthServiceImpl authenticator ? This feature is tested and used a lot and I never saw this behavior. Are those users exactly the same users, could you past the links you have for each one. On Thu, Aug 8, 2013 at 1:58 PM, Ganesh M wrote: > Hi, > > I mapped a LDAP group to the Xwiki group.
