I did follow the Upgrade guide, off course. What makes me confused is that it talks (like the install guide) of replacing the war file, when I have to unpack the war file in order to configure the hibernate.cfg and the xwiki.cfg and xwiki.properties. I also missed the importance of actually setting the permanent.directory, as it is by default stored in a temp location. So now I did restore the 6.4.1 environment and then moved the permanent directory then started again and it ran through the upgrade wizard for 6.4.1 seemingly successfully. Oh, Oh, I did something wrong I guess. Well, as I have to change the xwiki.cfg and the hibernate config, I unzipped the war anyway. So for upgrade I move the old dir our of the way , unzipped the new one and copied back the config (diffed it before as to merge it, but seemed not necessary. Which is the permanent directory? where is it? What else do I need to do now ? Thanks for the help, much appreciated. I answered 6.4.1). And clicking it again makes the screen busy for a few minutes and returns to the same screen. It seems to be stuck in this loop. I found out that in Chrome I can hit Later and it lets me through to the Wiki, until the next login. And this screen takes it time, so quite annoying. Well at least it is a workaround. [xwiki-users] Installed version 6.4.1 is not valid
Trying to upgrade from 6.4.1 to 6.4.2 and in the upgrade wizard I get this message "Installed version 6.4.1 is not valid" when upgrading the "XWiki Enterprise - UI - Main wiki" >From there on nothing moves forward, no "Later", no "Never" How can I get passed this. I installed cleanly 6.4.1 a few days ago.
