Description:

This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a team supporting &
delivering solutions to Client's Fixed Income Front, Middle and Back Office
Operations.
The role will initially involve 1st line application support
responsibilities, offering engagement with a broad range of stakeholders
across Front & Middle Office, Product Control, Risk Management, Back
Office, Application Development and Infrastructure teams (included server,
network), and External vendors and Market Exchanges.

Training will be provided, though given the nature of the role, the
successful candidate is expected to have a 'hands on' attitude and be
proactive to enhance their knowledge.
Systems and applications comprise vendor and in-house built tools, with ION
Trading solutions, Anvil, Broadridge Impact, ADP, and more.
Play a key role in supporting Client's Fixed Income, Front, Middle and Back
Office business in New York, with customer focus, operational excellence
and innovation as foundations for success.
Ensure incident and change management processes are executed as mandated,
partnering with various internal teams and divisions for reporting purposes
and to develop necessary improvements for improved operational
efficiencies, reduced costs and improved customer satisfaction.
Participate in and contribute to Planning / Analysis / QA / UAT phases of
on-going IT solution deliveries for New York and, when scope requires, on a
global basis.

ADDITIONAL OBJECTIVES:

Manage resolution of service delivery - escalate issues, lead service
recovery teams, ensure that root-cause analysis is conducted.
Ensure internal support processes are understood, documented, validated,
updated & communicated to key stakeholders.
Timely reporting, with respect to: Support Status; Incident Management;
Time Management.
Perform assigned responsibilities in a professional manner, and in
accordance with company policy.
Required
Fixed Income.  Knowledge of Treasuries, Agencies, Futures, and MBS is
highly preferred. Other areas include Repos and Securities Lending.
Work closely with Operations, Product Control, Accounting and Regulatory
Reporting, Front-Office and Technology
Provide business requirements, coordinate UAT, and post Go-Live activities
and Prod issue investigation
Experience with one or more of the following:
Ability to investigate technical issues along with Support, Network, Dev
and other teams.
Must be comfortable working in a fast paced environment
Highly organized and attention to detail
Experience with documenting requirements, technical specification
Ability to gather requirements based on discussions with the business, and
translate into technical spec's
Experience with creating test cases, scripts and test execution
Scripting, SQL and / or experience in Programming Languages
Computing, Business Administration, to Degree level
Ability to think logically, analyze and troubleshoot complex problems to
conclusion
Strong focus on client service and delivery in a team environment
Highly proactive, self-motivated and self-sufficient with the ability to
learn new skills quickly
Excellent facilitation and communication (verbal & written) skills
Good organizational skills
Understanding of financial markets and products, in particular Fixed Income
& Rates

Desirable:
Broadridge Impact System
Experience supporting Fixed Income desks & trading systems
Knowledge of ION Trading solutions / implementations
Knowledge of IT project & development lifecycles (SDLC)
