About the Job The *Hyperion Financial Management Implementation expert* will be interacting with different teams for leading the implementation of *Hyperion Close Suite*. Close suites include *HFM, HTP, FDMEE, FR and FCM*. Will be a Techno-Functional expert participating in understanding & to articulate the requirements to implementation team for bringing effective solution. He will participate in analyzing systems requirements to come up with a detailed solution design. Responsibilities will also include advising best practices and optimization of the financial close process. Prepare detailed functional specifications from which moderately-complex applications considering the configurations & build requirements. Actively participate in building planning applications, including build and configuration of business rules and loading data to set up the close scenarios as required. Pre-empt and advice the implementation teams make the right choice of options & configurations to help come up with effective solutions. *ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:* - Interact with client and executive level business users within finance, accounting & IT areas. - Advise client on best practices in planning and building planning applications for business rules, loading data to set up planning scenarios. - Participate in systems analysis and design, includes identifying and documenting the close process and functional specifications for building Hyperion Close Suite (*EPM 11.1.2.4*) applications. - Consult and advise client on building rules and making functional changes to applications in the close processes. *REQUIRED SKILLS:* - 3+ years' hands-on experience in designing and building *Financial Close* Applications - Thorough understanding of *Oracle EBS architecture* and EBS Integration experience is a plus - Comprehensive understanding of Financial Close Suite, including Hyperion Financial Management, Financial Close Manager, Financial Reporting, and Financial Data Quality Management. - Expert skills in building planning web forms and business rules. Expert with calculation manager business rules/scripts. - Extensive experience consulting clients on building efficient business rules and making functional changes to the application to adjust to change in close processes. - Expert skills in Hyperion Close Manager components: Application Manager, Planning Units, Plan Types, and Security. - Extensive experience with advisory role required in which client needs assessed and functional specifications are built as per Hyperion best practices. - Expert skills in using Smartview/Financial Reporting Studio to build excel retrieve query or financial reports. - Expert understanding of functional aspects of Income Statement, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow reporting and in advising clients reporting techniques. - Good understanding of Data Relational Management (DRM) and Hyperion Tax Provision (HTP) a significant plus. - Some experience with Oracle PBCS Cloud/Essbase is a plus. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Good time management skills. - Possess excellent analytical and problem solving skills. - Must be an excellent team player, willing to share knowledge and mentor other team members.
