Title*: VDI project managers* Location: *Quincy MA* Duration*: 2+ year (*local candidates only*)* Face to face required VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure) This manager will have multiple project managers positions coming up so please keep this in mind if/while recruiting. Interviews will start as soon as possible. Manager needs someone right away. Needed is for strong IT Infrastructure PM background - Must be an organized detailed orientated person - Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skill sets - Strong experience with MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio - Work closely with SMEs, team leads, project managers, architects, risk managers, and engineers on many complex global projects to develop and understand charter, goals, designs, roadmap, and project status - Drive collaboration across the teams to ensure overall goals are met - Track to budget goals ensuring team is tracking time and deliverables correctly - Develop and track key performance indicators - Track risks and issues and drive to resolution - Publish meeting minutes - Produce impactful dashboards and management level updates • This role is for a Project Manager to help with a global VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure) program focused on migrating and on-boarding users. PM Experience with VDI gets priority in interviews Strong organizational and communications skills required. Infrastructure Project Management experience preferred. • Responsible for planning, directing and coordinating the appropriate life cycle phases for implementation and support for one large or multiple small projects. Activities include coordinating resources, schedules, task assignments, project plans, and often perform systems analysis. Serves as the primary contact with user groups and systems management. Provides advice on methods and recommends changes in project management processes, standards and strategies. Provides resolution of major issues and manages project interdependencies and handoffs. Manages overall project communication and resolves issues. Supports the preparation of business case, cost/benefit analysis, contingency planning and risk assessment. Work closely with the Program Manager and Business Analysis's to develop and understand charter goals, designs, roadmap, and project status. Drive collaboration to ensure overall goals are met. Develop key success indicators that we will use to track our progress over time. Track to these metrics. Track to budget goals over time, ensuring work streams are tracking time and deliverables correctly. Manage and run a weekly project update meetings. Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skill sets 10+ years overall at minimum with at least 5+ years PM IT experience in IT infrastructure needed - some Development PM work. Strong experience with Excel, PowerPoint, Visio. Experience producing dashboards and management level updates. Experience and ability to interact with many complex projects. Experience ability to work well with SMEs, Team Leads, Project Managers, Architects, Risk Managers, Engineers.
