*Location: Owings Mills, MD* *Required Experience: 10+ years* *Other Requirements:* We would like to have someone that would be interested in ultimately converting to an employee of TRP. *Testing Experience Description:* - Development and implementation of test strategies. This is both from a lead perspective as well as able to actually perform the work as required - Development and implementation of test plans, test scenarios and test cases - Ability to execute the above listed deliverables - Ability to coach and train non-test professionals to develop scenarios, test cases etc. - Must establish, manage and execute the defect management processes using HP ALM toolset - Must demonstrate expertise using HP ALM including: Automation, defect tracking - Traceability of requirements through test cases using ALM - Test data creation, capture and management *Types of Testing:* - Functional End to End testing - Data base and application testing - Performance testing - Automated regression testing *Areas of Testing:* - System testing - User Acceptance testing working closely with the business and operations team to manage the test efforts associated with preparation, execution and documentation of test results - Full Load testing - Downstream coordination testing - Test Parallel test coordinated with BNYM *Fund Accounting Transition Program Specifics (currently in flight) * *Leads TRP Testing Team for BNYM Transition Projects:* · Leads test resources, testing assets (e.g., test labs, test environments, etc.), and testing artifacts (e.g., plans, designs, test data, specifications, etc.) to ensure business objectives are met. · Coordinates QA functions across testing life cycle (e.g., planning, prioritization, etc.) to maintain project timelines and to achieve objectives. · Reviews and approves work products to ensure quality and completeness of testing efforts. · Evaluates effectiveness of test outcomes to identify improvement areas. · Conducts audits of test processes to verify compliance. · Identifies automation opportunities and plans the utilization of technology and testing tools to increase efficiency and to improve quality. Works directly with Operations/Business to develop test cases, plans and execute UAT, End to End test with BNYM *Creates Test Plans and Evaluates Progress and Results:* · Reviews, contributes, and creates test plans, test strategy documentation, and project schedules to identify milestone activities. · Identifies test functions and required timelines to ensure proper utilization of test resources. · Assesses product quality and stability to ensure readiness for deployment. · Monitors and evaluates test progress and adjusts plans accordingly to ensure objectives and project schedule are achieved. · Displays ability to adjust plans, resulting from dynamic changes in projects and the business environment, to meet project deliverables. · Provides status reports to communicate project risks and to verify test objectives are met. Appropriately escalates issues to the program manager and key stakeholders to communicate status updates. *Analyzes Metrics and Produces QA Reports* - Analyzes and communicates tactical and strategic test metrics to key project stakeholders to provide visibility. - Utilizes defect tools to assess product quality, to communicate project status, and to identify project risks. *Leads Strategic Test Planning* · Engages with BNYM Testing to drive quality and to conduct initial test planning and estimation activities. · Provides test labor estimates to ensure adequate time and test resources are assigned to projects. · Identifies future test needs to ensure alignment with strategic plan. · Develops TRP and joint test strategies and plans · Identifies test methods to be utilized to ensure proper test coverage. · Remains current in the utilization of innovative testing practices, test tools, and technologies to disseminate updated knowledge throughout the organization. · Identifies needs for new testing tools to meet business objectives.
