Re: [USRP-users] UHD Converter for X310 series with unsupported data format

2018-01-31 Thread Kei Nguyen via USRP-users
s16 (int16_t) -> f32 (float) is not implemented.
https://files.ettus.com/manual/structuhd_1_1stream__args__t.html
I also checked the converters in host/lib/convert/ and couldn't find it.
Am I missing something?
Also, when I create a new converter do I have to rebuild the UHD?

Thanks.

Re: [USRP-users] Unamplified USRP transmission and FCC limits

2018-01-31 Thread Bakshi, Arjun via USRP-users
Will look into getting the experimental license.

On an unrelated note, how do I reply to a specific response to my post. I don't
get them in my inbox, so I just end up replying to the list with the same
subject.

Thanks,

Arjun

Subject: Unamplified USRP transmission and FCC limits

Hi,

For a setup where the tx-rx are indoors, can I assume that the USRPs transmit
power will not cause any significant interference to licensed users? I'm not
planning on using an amplifier, but I will be sweeping over a significant
portion of TV white space. The room doesn't have RF specific shielding. Just
brick and concrete.

Thank you,

Arjun
