[USRP-users] adaptive modulation using USRP
Hello everyone, I am looking towards how to make a flowgraph to detect when received signal strength is below -20 dB for instance. It'll automatically change modulation techniques to a low-order modulation (QPSK) and when more than -20 dB (say -10 dB). It'll take a high modulation technique (16QAM). May I know if anyone is working on this. I am willing to learn and contribute as well. [USRP-users] Calculate packet error rate using rx-ofdm
Hello, I am currently working with USRP for the gr-digital ofdm rx and tx. I want to know any reasonable way to calculate the packet error rate. I am using the signal source at the transmit side while I am planning to get the loss in packet at the receiver side. Currently, i looked at a dated back to 2015 discussion on this but it says using the packet_len in header formatter by multiplying it by 10,000 which is 96 * 10,000. However, this gave me an error and i could not see any FFT signal being transmitted. I even tried to increase my buffer size but the problem is still persistent. I Supposedly, the packet error rate should be derived from ratio of received packet divided by the packet_len. Therefore, I would be grateful if anyone can suggest a detail way to calculate the packet loss or show an alternative to getting a reasonable metrics here. Thanks. [USRP-users] Can't detect usrp in VMWare Player
I run ubuntu on VMWare Workstation Player 15 in a windows 10 host. However i connected usrp to the port using a gigabit ethernet cable and i can't ping nor find the uh using uhd_find_device. [USRP-users] detecting N210 from terminal
Hello, I am working with N210 and I am unable to detect the N210 from ubuntu16.04 terminal. May I know how to be able to detect USRP N210 in ubuntu16.04 terminal using Gigabit Ethernet cable and the command terminal line uhd_find_devices. Ive tried countless methods such as usrp_devices_pprobe and many other more. Second of all, I don't know how to configure the IP address and net mask for N210 from ubuntu network manager.
