Re: [vchkpw] vpopmail:vchkpw

Do I dare even ask why? Other than this being horribly insecure I think
you just made 1000 people cry out in there sleep.

While I don't see any issue with it running as root. Like I said early
it really begs the question of why.

I wanted to ask about creation of vpopmail:vchkpw user:group for

creation of this user:group pair. What if i want to use root:root for it?

[vchkpw] Weird issue i'm seeing when qmail+vpopmail is used.

2003-01-08 Thread Scott Walker
I have about 45 domains on a vpopmail+qmail setup. It runs like a champ

But the problem i'm seeing (and I've seen it before) for some unknown
reason sometimes (I say sometimes, cause it truly is 'sometimes') you'll
email [EMAIL PROTECTED] It will take anywhere from 15 mins to 4 hours for the
mail to show up.

Turn around and email [EMAIL PROTECTED] on the same box (from same email used
in first test)... shows up instantly.

Has anyone encountered that before? Is there somewhere you can set
something like that kind of hold time? Or is something wrong with how
the domain was setup? I'm at a loss.

I've got tons of customers barking at me about it taking 6 hours, for
mail to show up, etc, etc.

I'm truly at a loss any help? :)

Weird issue with vpopmail

2000-12-13 Thread Scott Walker

I have it installed and it's working (Sorta).

Mail is delievered instantaneous for some domains... Some have to wait for
10-15 minutes.. Other it nevers gets to the domain (Domain being where the
use can pop and and grab) untill the qmail process is stop and started. Has
anyone else had this problem?
