I had assumed the server and workstation were one entity because you were attempting to direct email to the .mozilla tree in a .qmail file. if that is not the case put the fqdn (fully qualified domain name) in the server settings, otherwise use localhost. yes you ve right , i ve the server and workstation in the same machine so i use these settings in mozilla pop and smtp : localhost user :[EMAIL PROTECTED] and i don't receive messages in mozilla i ve always them in my vpopmail directory and i dont know why

There is also a web-based e-mail client that reads the Maildir directly (without having to install an IMAP or POP server), and that is sqwebmail: http://www.inter7.com/sqwebmail.html sorry ,i have a problem after compiling sqwebmail when i launched my cgi webmail in my apache directory i get The webmail system is temporarily unavailable. An error occured in function %s: %s/p/body/html CGI environment exceeds allowed maximum size.

de I am not aware of all the available graphical mail clients out there, but I know that mutt (http://www.mutt.org/) can recognize Maildir and mbox (and a few others). a friend of man has mounted a qmail server , created an account for me and send me a message i reveived by mozilla so , why can i receive my message in my own server ? Or you could setup a .qmail file in the user's vpopmail directory (eg, /var/vpopmail/domains/linux-pour-lesnuls.com/deny/) to put the mail elsewhere - so that would be done on a per-user basis. I think your best bet would be to just IMAP or POP the messages, even if only locally. That way you can use Mozilla (or any other mail client) to read the mail. (of course, that requires you to setup an IMAP and/or POP server) yes like squirrelmail for example ? thanks

'case that's what he wrote (no trailing /) yes that is the question i just want my mails in /var/vpopmail/domains/linux-pour-lesnuls.com/deny/Maildir to read in a graphics client all the solutions are welcome thanks
