vpopmail 4.9.8-1 core dumps

2001-04-04 Thread Sumith Ail

Hello

When I add a domain on my qmail+vpopmail(cdb)+qmailadmin on my RH6.2 box
/home/vpopmail/bin/vadddomain -u user1 -e [EMAIL PROTECTED] domain1.com
password
The Output is "Segmentation fault- Core dump"
I need to have a default catch-all account set while adding the virtual
domain.

Would appreciate any help.

Regards
Sumith

What would be the safest way to upgrade..with out effecting my 100+ domains
created using cdb password database and using separate home directories.

 Hello there,

The following error occurs when i try to compile courier-imap 1.3.6 with
 vpopmail 4.9.8-1 already installed:

 vchkpw modauthvchkpw.o libauthmod.a libauth.a
./md5/libmd5.a -lvpopmail -lm
 -lcrypt
 libauth.a(preauthvchkpw.o): In function `auth_vchkpw_pre':
 /home/yavuz/courier-imap-1.3.6/authlib/preauthvchkpw.c:73: undefined
reference
 to `vlogauth'
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
 make[1]: *** [authvchkpw] Error 1
 make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/yavuz/courier-imap-1.3.6/authlib'
 make: *** [all-recursive] Error 1

 What the mistake?

 Greetings,

Would qmail-pop3 be better to use or will this do the trick?

The users directory is for backward compatiblity. I highly recommend
against using it.

If you want to setup
a default domain use --enable-default-domain=your.default-domain.com

Then add the domain normally with vadddomain domainname.
When you add users make sure you add them with thier full email address
vadduser [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Stick with --enable-default-domain and you'll be all set.

Vpopmail 4.9.8-1.

2001-03-13 Thread Brad Dameron

I have the following set for my config:

--enable-logging=p

Now shouldn't that log everything including passwords?? Right now it is not
logging anything. Or should this be:

--enable-logging=yp

Thank you.

Vpopmail-4.9.8-1 and Ezmlm-IDX 0.53

2001-03-09 Thread David Crawshaw

Hi everyone, I was sort of hoping someone here could help me.

I have a Qmail Server running with Vpopmail-4.9.8-1, and it works well. I
can use the vadduser and vadddomain to create users, and I can pick up mail
over pop and smtp is working well, after a bit of playing around.

Now I've installed ezmlm-idx 0.53 on my system, and all seems good. I run
the ezmlm-make like this:

ezmlm-make /home/vpopmail/domains/domainname/listname \
/home/vpopmail/domains/domainname/.qmail-listname \
listname domainname

And the command runs without problem, and adds the directory and a whole lot
of stuff in it. I then run:

ezmlm-sub /home/vpopmail/domains/domainname/listname \
[EMAIL PROTECTED]

To check, I run:

ezmlm-list /home/vpopmail/domains/domainname/listname

and my e-mail address is returned. So then I go to my workstation and send
an e-mail from that address to listname@domainname. And that is that
last I see of the e-mail. Never again. :-S

I went looking through some files, and found a command in the .qmail file
that says ezmlm-send /home/vpopmail/domains/domainname/listname. I
figured I'd give it a go and run it myself, and it just sits there, as if
it's working, but it's not doing anything. Eventually, I have to Ctrl+C out.

Can anyone help me out with this? I'm really stuck here.
