hello guys yes i do think this is a good idea... as with different tuners they could be used for other lnbs like c -band and ku i could only use my s2/s card for services on a c and ku setup then tune and record from different types of services... then each tuner could live on a fixed satellite if you wanted On 10/29/09, Timothy D. If it happens to be on the secondary when it looses, then it's the first tuner that goes.I don't need to restart drivers, only vdr/xine to restore it. I have also noticed that disabling the atsc epg plugin seems to stop the problem but the author only has one tuner, so no way to confirm/check the problem. If I ever get time to upgrade my other vdr box, it will have both the same dual tuner and a single atsc tuner and a sat tuner. I'll then be able to see if the tuner loss is just that card. A simple interface for creating a diseqc.conf can improove the usability of vdr! I think this is actually one of the reasons some guys fumble around trying to cascade their diseqc switches. However, not all switches can be cascaded and so they're left stuck.
