[Veritas-bu] locked/busy file action for windows clients

How can I set the locked/file action for windows clients? I can set that for 
unix clients from the master server but I don't see the same option for the 
windows clients.

I am using NBU 5.1 Master/media.

[Veritas-bu] Moving to a different storage unit

[Adeday]

I have 4 disk storage units and a robotic library configured. One of the
disk storage units is full. I have 3 policies that are backing up to this
storage unit. What is the safest way of moving these policies to another
storage unit? Can I leave the old backups of these policies where they are
now and start backing up to another disk or tape? Will NBU know where the
old backups are?  This is NBU 5.1 on solaris master/media server.

[Veritas-bu] New NBU 6.0 solution

Putting up new NBU 6 backup solution. Here is the plan:

Current backup 5 TB/day and growing

Master Sun 245 or similar/Sol. 10
Media Sun 245 or similar/Sol. 10

Disk staging on EMC DL210 VTL attached to media server thru fiber
Tape backup on ADIC i500 LTO Library attached to the VTL thru fiber
Client backup done on a dedicated 100BaseT LAN

I would like to get any ideas or suggestions on the plan. I would also
appreciate past  present  experience on the DL210 VTL and i500.

Also, is it possible to directly attach the media serverVTL-i500
thru dark fiber or do I need a fiber switch or is there any other way of
doing it?

successfully backed on a client. How do I check on a
netbackup client if a certain file was backed up
successfully or not?
