Re: [Veritas-bu] Only restore to alternate path

2006-08-01 Thread Clooney, David

Hi Group

Think this little question slipped under the radar,
anyone had to force users to use an alternate path when
restoring.

Scenario

windows SAN media server, using bpstart_notify to
snap_mirror disks and then backup BC , problem is that if a user restores from
media server during backup to origin . This is causing issues. Want to be able
to force uses to restore to alternate path . I haven't come across a
netbackup feature like this was wondering whether anyone else has had to
implement this somehow ??

Regards

Dave
