opendiff + versions

2009-12-03 Thread khReichel
Hi,
after switching form windows - mac osx, I try to use versions to work
with our sw repos.
Everything seems to be fine, but when I try to diff older versions of
a file in TimeLine,
Version cannot find the differ opendiff, even if it has been installed
with xcode 3.1.4
(opendiff is actually installed under /Xcode3.1.4/usr/bin).
Also the searchpath is set to that directory...
Question:
Which location is expected from Version to find opendiff?
How can I setup Version to find opendiff

best regards
karl-heinz

Re: Terrible user experience using Versions and Snow Leopard

2009-12-03 Thread Dirk Stoop
Hi guys,

This is a known problem, we are working on a fix for it right now.

Although we've received some reports that people started seeing this
particular crash report a lot more after upgrading to Snow Leopard,
it's not completely isolated to Snow Leopard.

We are pretty far along with the actual fix and are currently testing
whether it has any adverse effects elsewhere. To fix the issue, we've
had to make some changes pretty deep down in the guts of some of the
library code we use, so we need/want to test rigorously for side
effects before we're ready to ship it.

I'm hoping we'll have this resolved soon, possibly in the next update
to Versions,

Thanks for your patience,
- Dirk

Re: Moved our repository, but now files aren't checking in

2009-12-03 Thread Quinn Taylor
Your working copy is probably still hitting the old host — use the Inspector in
Versions or `svn info` to verify. Versions doesn't support svn switch yet. Look
at `svn help switch` for information on how to --relocate your repository root
URL.

We just moved our repository to a new host. We clicked on the

from our existing working copy and if we look at the timeline for the
working copy it shows the check-ins. However, if we click on the
timeline for the repository those new checkins don't show up. It
appears that the working copy may be still using the old repository or
there is some other problem. How do we fix this?
