Re: Removing files from commit list

2009-10-13 Thread Noah Campbell
This would be very helpful since hunting down individual files to commit in
the UI with a large repository is not so user friendly, especially if you
mis-click and loose all your previous selections.

On Tue, Oct 13, 2009 at 8:30 AM, Quinn Taylor quinntay...@mac.com wrote:

+1 This would be quite nice. In Eclipse, the Subversive plugin puts a
checkmark by each item to select whether it should be part of the commit.
The trick (as always) is how best to provide the desired functionality in a
tasteful and useful way, not just spewing information all over the screen
and making the user sort through it. :-)

First let me say I really like Versions. But (unless I just can't find
it) it is missing a key piece of functionality. Namely the ability to
Commit an entire directory, and then deselect certain files from the
 list presented.

I typically work on a number of stories at the same time so need to
commit only part of what has changed. There might be 50 changed files
over 30 directories, but maybe I only need to commit 35 of the files.
I'd like to commit the entire parent directory and then be able to
deselect certain files from the commit window before proceeding with
 the commit.

Again, a really great product otherwise. Thanks.

Re: 1.0.6 Crashing Constantly

2009-10-08 Thread Noah Campbell
I had it in my configuration, but I have an environment template to pull
from.
cut from my config:

ssh = $SVN_SSH /usr/bin/ssh -o ControlMaster=no

Try adding it.

Do you mean you replaced the line:

PS: For the record: Lots of crashes for me too on OS X 10.6.1. Might
be noteworthy that we're running SVN 1.1.4 on our crappy server.
In addition I'm flooded by SVN error popups when I change/update a
large number of files outside of Versions. Might this be related to a
 slow SVN connection?

Error in child process: exec of 'ssh' failed: No such file or directory

I upgraded and I think something broke, but I can't get the last
version of Versions to confirm.

Can someone point me to the archive of older Versions, specifically
1.0.5?

Thank you,

Ability to search files

2009-10-01 Thread Noah Campbell

It would be helpful to do a search for files in Versions instead of
navigating the folders. The single key entry doesn't work well with a
large number of files. Typing C repeatedly is frustrating when I want
to find the file Context.
