Re: Easier way of adding

I am a bit unclear on what you are asking:

Do you want to know if there is a way to have Versions prompt you
(automatically) with a message that there are unversioned files within the
directory tree you have selected to commit and to have the prompt include the
option to add all those files so they can be committed?

The short answer to that question is no. So far as I can tell, Versions lacks
this functionality, but Cornerstone has it.

The fastest way to see such unversioned files in Versions is to have the
Versions browser show changed files instead of all. Then one has to select
all the unversioned files, add them, and then you can finally commit. I agree
that that is too many steps, but I don't see any faster way to do it with
Versions.

Presently when I am working on a project and get read to commit
changes (after adding files throughout) and hit commit, there is no
indication that files have been added. Previous SVN clients
(SubEclipse) I have used have automatically prompted me to add these
missing files. Instead what I have to do i manually navigate
throughout the directory structure adding each file which needs it.

 adding files in a repo.

Working copy bookmarks show this for me... The repository can't know what files
on disk might need to be added -- after all, you might have several working
copies checked out from it.
