Re: Problems with accented characters.

2009-08-25 Thread Turdundor

Fabian,

It's known subversion issue. You need to install a patched version
from macports (sudo port install +unicode_patch). This should fix
command-line tools, i.e. svn status should no more report two files

Unfortunately, this doesn't resolve the issue with Versions, at the
app has its own precompiled version of SVN libs. I found a workaround
for that, please see my reply to the post Problem with umlaut
characters like ö,ä,ü.

Please note that +unicode_patch version of SVN is not fully compatible
and it WILL create problems with some setups. more details at

http://svn.collab.net/repos/svn/trunk/notes/unicode-composition-for-filenames

Cheers,
Alex

Problems with accented characters.

2009-08-05 Thread Fabian Ferreyra

Hi, I'm having a problem with filenames which contains accented
characters. Versions shows the file twice on the Browse view... first
the file as missing, and after that missing file, the same file with
status new.

If I try to add the file marked as new, the SVN server replied me with
a File exists error.

Is there any way to fix this? I'm from a latin country, and we have to
spell our filenames without errors.

Thanks in advance.
