The FITS import only allows the import of binary/ascii tables and 1D/2D images. Unfortunately, the data file you have there consists of a 3D image, which Veusz doesn't know how to handle. It would be useful in the future to add some sort sophisticated treatment of FITS files (such as allowing slicing), to allow this sort of data to be imported.
