He slept with his fly rod standing in the corner next to his bed. He didn't bother taking off his shirt and pants. His vest on the bed post and his wading boots were placed where he could swing off the bed, and like a fireman ram his feet into them. His fishing hat was by his pillow. [VFB] Thunder Creek Streamers---update
A special thanks to Gary Smith, his flies arrived on my door step yesterday afternoon. And he sent a treat in the box, an extra fly for everyone. Thank you Gary I have contacted the regional director of Project Healing Waters to make sure I sent the flies to the right chapter here in South Carolina; what I found out that they are just starting a new chapter at the Charleston SC VAMC. They are thrilled that we are donating flies to their new chapter.
