[VFB] pattern question

Seriously, I think you can tie some bass type streamers with eyes on them as bass tend to go for the head of a baitfish is my understanding and would more easily get hooked up on a shorter shank hook. -- Bruce P. I've seen some San Juan Worms tied that large. But my best advice would be to pass them on to someone else! Scud hooks are notoriously poor hookers.
