I'm thinking about hosting a 2012 Summertime Hopper Fly Swap.

Is there any interest? Also if it makes we will tye one extra to donate
to a silent auction for Children's Hospital in Little Rock.

I use strung saddle hackles which are still plentiful in the Sportsman's
warehouse..also at Cabelas. I also have some much older necks of early..very
poor by today's standards, hackles at the bottoms. Have been very fortunate
in that I have, through the years, purchased saddles and capes whenever I saw
a good one so probably have a life time supply, esp. since at my age,as I
probably have 10 or less more years of life left. Joyce

DonO, Ignoramus and neophyte that I am...what do you use for bugger
hackles? I can't seem to find any feathers that are suitable lately. My
capes are mostly too short as well as a bit stiff.
I like the more flexible hen hackles but they are much too short.

I am wanting 15.00 for the Chinese necks and 20.00 ea for the Game Cock
necks. I have some dyed Chinese necks.First come first served on those.

 Hi Tony!

I would love to take you up on your offer. Ple send me a PM at
 bhendry at cheerful dot com.

I'm not sure I know the difference 'tween a Chinese cock neck and a
Whiting rooster neck; probably ought to include one of those as well.

Yesterday I was watching your video filmed in '09 at the Sowbug, where
you tied the Chili Demon. I had hoped to tie a few today, but got
wrapped around the axel (literally) of my trailer. Maybe later this
afternoon. That video is one of the better one out there; clear and
 concise. Well done.!

 Cheers,

dispose of. These are smaller that Rooster necks. Also have some Chinese
  necks.
