It's not just the drought Chuck from what I understand from a few folks that know is that the government also cut the amount the subsidize peanuts in this area this year and alot of the farmers decided to grow crops that yield higher returns. Then, about October I guess it was, they went to $65 a bag. Then yesterday, she went to pick some up and they were $87 per 50 pound bag. That's about a 91% increase in less than 6 months if my math is correct. Anybody here who likes peanuts or peanut butter, better stock up. They said that it was mainly cause of the draught in Texas and other states out that way. I didn't know Texas raised that many peanuts, but I guess they do. Robert: yeah, sadly, all that stuff, from peanuts, corn, pork bellies, wheat, oats and on and on are subsidized, and are also traded on the futures markets that usually keeps the prices artificially high, Chuck - Original Message - From: Robert Morger rmor...@gmail.com To: vfb-mail@googlegroups.com Sent: Wednesday, December 28, 2011 9:12 AM Subject: Re: [VFB] My Whip Finisher/Off Topic answer, sorta It's not just the drought Chuck from what I understand from a few folks that know is that the government also cut the amount the subsidize peanuts in this area this year and alot of the farmers decided to grow crops that yield higher returns. Re: [VFB] My Whip Finisher
Tony: Yeah, i think that if i saw somebody whip finish by hand in person i could do it, but on a DVD it seems to be like a mirror, ie backwards when you look at it. I'm gonna play my DVD's and try it again. or just get my wife to teach me LOL...
