Wes, there are many ways to rig boobies - I have 5 pages on the subject in Stillwater Fly Fishing. The depth and type of bottom, from boat or shore, anchored or drifting, the feeding level of fish; all these and others influence how they are rigged and fished. I fish them on everything from floating lines to hi-speed/hi-D full sinkers.
