There are lots of ways to do that, but one is to have your video on the bottom layer, the white text on the layer above it, and colored text on the layer above that. Type over the white letters with the colored letters in the timing that you want people to sing. That way, it appears that the words are turning colored at the right time. I believe I just saw a free filter for doing that for either Premiere or FCP. Do you use either one of those programs? [videoblogging] Reasonably Priced Mini DV Camcorder...
I'm sure this has been covered before, but... I'm looking to add a mini dv cam to our 'studio'. I want to use it to interface with my macs to save wear and tear on my GL2. My old sony PC5 is starting to grumble a bit. I need firewire, would prefer Audio/in out and that's about it. Any suggestions would be appreciated. the Canon XHA1 is a great camera. i love it. shoots in 24P, 30P and 60i HD, 1080p. a great second camera to this one for B roll is the Canon HV 20 or HV 30 eric. www.green-house.tv
