Yep...this is one of the few sites online that is heavily
experimenting with the video tag.
Also, http://tinyvid.tv/ and http://www.dailymotion.com/openvideodemo.

[videoblogging] new final cut studio today

2009-07-23 Thread Jose Nuno Pereira
hi video bloggers ;),

especially for the mac people.

there is a new Final cut studio in town - vers. 3
the upgrade from any version is $300 USD or $999 (full price)

i already checked some stuff here:
http://www.apple.com/finalcutstudio/
http://provideocoalition.com/index.php/rharrington/story/want_to_know_whats_new_in_final_cut_studio_3/
http://www.rippletraining.com/provideoapps.html
http://twitter.com/#search?q=fcs

i am trying to find if it still runs on macbook with intel graphics
adapter because it says:
ATI or NVIDIA graphics processor (integrated Intel graphics
processors not supported)

Rgds,
ZN

I believe it's always said that. The macbook with shared intel
graphics was never officially supported for FCS, though lots of folks
ran FCP itself on it.

2009-07-23 Thread Michael Sullivan
yeah it's been mentioned. good to see. they provide a unique push of Ogg,
HTML5 and latest browsers.

two other interesting sites:
http://firefogg.org
http://videobin.org/

and of course...
wikipedia.org and archive.org also support Ogg/HTML5

this doesnt look too active but i also recently discovered
http://spreadopenmedia.org which reminded me a bit of my old
spreadthemedia.org project.
