I've tried to use it, but it keeps crashing on me. Anyone have any luck
with it?

If someone actually downloads and edits with this new software, I'd
love to hear how your experience. What especially excites me is the
transcoding aspect of it. Someone told me you could drag clips into
the app, and it would just know how to edit them. Not sure if this is
 the truth.

[videoblogging] Hometown Videos needed!

2010-04-22 Thread proctorjen
Hi everyone,

The following request comes from a couple of my students who are wrapping up
their final project in my class here in Michigan. I'm sure lots of you have
videos related to your town already produced, so if you'd be so kind as to
submit them (or make a new one!) to these students, they would be most
grateful! Thanks!

Attention Video Bloggers,

We're looking for help! Created for a class project, Hometown Showdown is a
interactive website that lets users view hometowns across America in a whole
new way. Instead of reading a travel guide or looking at pictures online,
Hometown Showdown lets you see the best parts of the town via video from people
who actually live there! We are actively seeking submissions to increase our
database. Our goal is to create a complete video travel guide of the United
States.

In order to participate, please send in a short video of your home town (via
youtube url) to hometownshowd...@gmail.com. We encourage creativity so feel
free to make a hometown video however you like: music video, documentary, or
any short clip.

Check out our site at www.hometownshowdown.blogspot.com to see current
submissions and look around. For complete instructions watch:

Thank you!
