Re: [videoblogging] got any Xacti example vids?

2007-07-09 Thread Gökçen Karan
I'm using Xacti CA6. I'm very like this camera because it's very small
and I like it's performance. But if you don't have
sunlight videos are a little cloods :-)

David King yazm?s,:

I'm using an Xacti HD1A on all my videos. I usually shoot using 640X480,
then compress it down to 320X240 during editing... check them out and see
 what you think.

Any wierdness is probably my lack of video shooting knowledge, rather than
 the camera!

My overall thoughts - you probably wont get any better in a tiny mpeg4
camera. They're small (the HD version is about 2x the size of the
 C4, C5,
  C6
or the new h264 versions) and go with you anywhere. I've made many
 videos
with them that I would not have otherwise because I wouldn't have
 bothered
to bring a bigger camera along. The C5 (my camera) is the worst of the
  bunch
in low light. It's unusable in someplace like a bar at night. Most
 of the
sound issues can be solved by not zooming while you shoot and by
 learning
how to manual focus with it. The HD cameras have a very annoying
 tendency
  to
clip a normal speaking voice if it's too close to the mic, ie, your own
  voice.

It's very good sun light and living room light but it's not good low
lighting. If you looking low lighting maybe check another camera.

If I was in my early twenties and could do all the things I do now
plus edit and do HTML I could live off of what I make with French
Maid TV but I'm not and I don't so I'm still producing for cable TV
 networks.

That said, if I can land more sponsorships on a regular basis I will
be doing French Maid TV full time. And if I can get the French Maids
working for me full time I will then launch new story based online
shows. But until I get the spectacle working I'm not going to
venture into story without funding from another source.

Fortunately my agents at UTA are working hard to make all this happen.

Now if I just don't screw it up everything should be fine.

You know every time I say or write, My agents I get a really stupid
 smile on my face.
