2006-06-01 Thread William Volk

Every day people are selling their own videos into the $5B mobile market.

If you have independent content, why aren't you taking advantage of this?

See http://www.mynumo.com

[videoblogging] MyNuMo.com opens up $5B Mobile Market to anyone who creates content.

2006-04-06 Thread William Volk
Building on the exponential growth in user generated content on the
Internet, MyNuMo (www.mynumo.com http://www.mynumo.com/ ) has launched a
powerful online marketplace, where anyone can publish and sell music,
images, and videos into the lucrative mobile content marketplace.

MyNuMo¹s user-friendly creation tools and dynamic media interface, allow
consumers, corporations, and distributors to quickly create, display and
sell mobile content directly from their own custom user pages.

³Every day millions of people create pictures, music and videos. Now they
can finally get paid for it,² states Sherri Cuono, President of NuMo Media.
³We provide a frictionless interface for both publisher and customer.
MyNuMo features some of the best ringtones and mobile wallpapers in the
market, all created by independent artists from around the world.²

Mobile Evangelist Maven Debi Jones of MobileJones.com commented, ³The site
provides all the tools you need to become a mobile media mogul. Users can
even use their cell phone to record ringtones, or a web-based mixer for
creating techno sounds. Users can turn their photos into wallpapers, upload
videos and sell them to Cingular and T-mobile subscribers.²

³It¹s an eBay for digital content,² comments CEO Bill Volk. ³MyNuMo takes
care of all the technical issues. Conversion to handset formats is
automatic. What¹s more, unlike some of the existing mobile Œstores¹ myNuMo
has billing agreements with the US carriers that support wap-push of
content. There¹s no need to type in URL¹s or use a credit card to buy
content. We¹re already seeing unique items on myNuMo you just won¹t find
anywhere else.²

³MyNuMo is like MySpace meets eBay,² states Keith Arem, MyNuMo co-president
and 15-year veteran for the interactive industry. ³We encourage an open
viral community, where users can rate and share their content. We can
quickly see trends that are going to be popular, and users can benefit from
the best content from around the world.²

MyNuMo has already attracted impressive media talent from the UK, Mexico,
Korea and the United States. ³Our goal is simple,² concluded William Volk.
³Što enable creative people everywhere to tap into the mobile market, and to
provide mobile customers with great content²

myNuMo is a trademark of PhoneFlix, Inc (DBA NuMo Media).

[videoblogging] Re: A question to the video bloggers

2006-01-30 Thread William Volk
I asked:

Let's say there was a website that allowed you to post your video clips to
be viewed and purchased by mobile phone customers.

 Would you use it?

Ted Tagami replied:

Need more info. Terms of Service, Revenue splits, Licensing and ownership
 rights, et al.

The creator would retain ownership. Net revenue would be about the same as
if you sold the video clip to a mobile publisher. Video would be
automatically converted to the formats needed for various phones. You would
have your own page for your uploaded content.

Peter replied:

Only if the licensing wasn't restrictive (I own my content and can
take it anywhere I like). Then I would try it. If it generated some
real $, I'd continue to use it. Hell, if it was easy to use I'd
probably use it even if it generated no significant $ (for anyone),
just as a service to my users.

Cool. Good to hear. I'll let you know more when the site launches..

Bill
