I still have tapes from my Public Access TV days back in Hawaii from the mid 90's. Am surprised how handsome I was then! [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
[videoblogging] HI-8 Camcorder Wanted
Anyone getting rid of a working HI-8 soon and want to put it to good use? We have HI-8 analog and HI-8 digital tapes that need to be put into the HDD. Over on eBay it appears the prices start off low but quickly rise. Maybe, just maybe I can locate a camera here. Something allowing us to get our collection of archived tapes into the HDD. [videoblogging] VideoBlogging From Asia
I'm a military pensioner desiring to travel, film, upload, and get paid. Around August 2009 I'll begin touring in Hawaii then the Philippines, Guam, and Viet Nam for 2 years. Was considering employing a grant writer to raise funds to pay expenses of making an interesting video blog or Satellite presentation. Expenses for locating and employing crewmembers met during my travels. Any advice, recommendations or suggestions? D.K. [videoblogging] ActiveMovie Embedded MPG Object Test Page
My Ulead Video Studio 8 created a page for me called ActiveMovie Embedded MPG Object Test Page, and except the picture is a bit larger than I need (easy to modify) can anyone tell me if I use this code in an HTML page, is it easy to be seen by the masses? I desire to host the video on my server and use it in a webpage. My Windows XP IE 7.x warn me that it is dangerous to open active-x materials, and if everyone else has the same warning maybe they won't watch the video. Any comments are appreciated. [videoblogging] Live Webcam on Hollywood Blvd.
Scenario: What I normally do is plug in a tripod mounted webcam into the usb 2.0 slot in the laptop (1.9Ghz, 1.99GB- RAM), turn on the Sprint mobile broadband and start showing using Yahoo Messenger 9.0. My friends list is 210 and I send an invite via yahoo mail telling the approximate time I'm online. A yahoo messenger announcement says view my webcam or something similar. Viewers say they hear no audio, and currently I must approve all requests to view my webcam. Question: Is there a better way of doing this so that when I've say 100-1000 viewers they will have a more rewarding experience? I've tried using conference and since I don't fully understand its features it seems not suited for large groups. Still, I don't know how to show a video from another webcam in the conference, such as my assistant covering a different view of the story. Thanks!
