Re: [videoblogging] Best Video Sitemap Tool

2010-01-17 Thread Julian Seery Gude
Thanks for the feedback Rupert!

Regarding the creation of a video sitemap for video SEO I've checked out a
WordPress plugin called FLV Embed which looks good for WordPress users
http://www.channel-ai.com/blog/plugins/flv-embed/.

Unfortunately I can't use it for my commertical practice LOCALNa8ion.com t
because it relies on Jeroen’s FLV Player and FLV Player is restricted to
non-commercial use. I'm going to try FLV Embed on my personal blog though and
I'll report back here on what I eventually figure out regarding a good
commercial video sitemap solution.

Along the lines of Video SEO and WordPress plugins there's a good plugin for
creating MRSS feeds http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/mrss/

Cheers all!

Julian,

Thanks for this question. I also need to begin to generate this type of
content for embedding in client blogs and websites etc, and I am reluctant
to get a professional rig when I see people doing well with a Flip or
otherwise and have been worried about better audio.

I think the Kodak Zi8 is leading the way with external mics and ease of use,
but I also hear stories of it malfunctioning and not working up to standards
of those that believe mics are important for the sound quality of a
professional video.

I am also very interested in what the experts here are doing and what they
are using on a budget.
