I would contend that legitimate concepts don't need to spam. And yes 
this is spam, it has no relation to Videoblogging and it's a 
promotional message, not part of a conversation about videoblogging. 
Jason hasn't come by to apologise or even follow up on the message 
so I assume that he just sent this out to eveyone in his address 
book. Not that he was much of a participant in this community to 
begin with. His main contributions being conversations he had with a 
few vloggers here that he thought "important" enough to engage in 
the period shortly after Vloggercon. He's a drive-by participant at 
best.

regardless, i'd rather be notified about a legitimate concept such as mahalo
rather than the thousands of true spam examples.  lighten up.

automation does not equal spam.  it may be less than desirable, but it aint
spam.
