for the record, is there a way to just de link one clip in the timeline, instead of all of them at once? this threw me off at first, since I thought it would just apply to the clip I had selected, which is how it works with premier, so when I started moving clips around, all of a sudden everything was moving independtly ... I quickly learned that shift l again would put them back together ... anyway, it would be a little more convenient if there is a way to do it for just one clip, though I can work around pretty easily if not ... ... Click the little chain link icon on the upper right of the time line, after selecting the clip you want to de-link.
